President of the Russian Skating Union Nikolai Gulyaev met the President of the International Skating Union (ISU) Kim Jae-il.
The meeting took place in the Netherlands, where the ISU conference takes place and where the World Single Distance Championships begin.
– Held a personal meeting with ISU President Kim Jae-il in Heerenveen. He detailed what we are doing to develop and popularize speed skating and short track. He showed a video of the World Skating Day, which took place on December 4 at the VDNKh ice rink with thousands of participants.
The UIS President liked everything very much – both mass character and creativity. Together, we expressed the hope that Russian athletes will be able to return to international competitions in the very near future.
