“Winning a ski marathon is prestigious, but it’s no less important to be at the start and have fun” – biathlete Latypov

Triple Olympic bronze medalist biathlete Edward Latypov told that it would be important for him not only to win the Yugra Ski Marathon, but also to play for fun.

The 10th Yugra Ski Marathon will be held in Khanty-Mansiysk on April 7-8. In addition to Latypov, a biathlete will take part in it Karim Khalili And Daniil Serokhvostov . Olympic cross-country skiing champions Evgeny Dementyev, Sergey Ustyugov and Alexander Legkov will also take part in the competition.

– There will be a short time after the Russian Championship in Khanty-Mansiysk, but I will be happy to perform. Sure, it’s prestigious to win and win prizes, but just performing and having fun is no less important. Marathons are a very interesting distance, not at all comparable to the disciplines of our sport. Two in one – for talking and feeling emotions, – said Latypov.
