Olympic champion Prevets, who fell from the springboard, was released from hospital with a concussion and a back injury.

Slovenian flying skier Stone Prev who fell from a springboard during training, said he was discharged from hospital.

The incident happened on March 1 during the World Ski Championships, which take place in the Slovenian Planica. The athlete was hospitalized.

“Sometimes things go wrong. Luckily I got away with only a concussion and a bruised back. Sincere thanks to my wife, all the doctors, nurses who take care of me, wrote the 30-year-old athlete on the social network.

The Slovenian Ski Association said doctors prescribed Prevc 14 days of rest and bed rest.

Prevc won gold, two silver and one bronze at the Sochi and Beijing Olympics.
