Julia lagged behind the winner by 45.9 seconds
Norwegian biathlete Marte Olsbu-Røiseland won the women’s sprint at the stage World Cup V Nove Mesto.
Marte finished without errors on the shooting range in 19:28.4 seconds. Her compatriot Ingrid-Landmark Tandrevold finished second, Frenchwoman Anais Chevalier-Boucher finished third.
The best result of Ukraine was the 11th place of Yulia Dzhima. The Ukrainian was 45.9 seconds behind the winner Olsby-Røiseland.
Anastasia Merkushina and Elena Bilosyuk came to the finish line with the same result and shared the 26th place. Darya Blashko finished 43rd, while Lyubov Kipyachenkova finished 66th.
Tomorrow, the men’s (12.5 km) and women’s (10 km) pursuit races will take place in the Czech Republic.
