Three Ukrainian women entered the top 30 at once
Head coach of the women’s national team of Ukraine Alexander Kravchenko commented on the performance of Ukrainian women in sprint race at the stage World Cup in Czech Nove Mesto.
“It was a very tight race. You all saw that the girls coped with the shooting, except for Luba [Кипяченковой]. But this is it, she ran well. And so – well done girls. Given that Julia [Джима] after illness, Elena [Билосюк]Nastya [Меркушина] after the exhausted stage. Satisfied, why not be satisfied. Positive result. I hope the fans are satisfied. Diseases? Yulia fell ill at the World Championships, Elena – after it.
Blaschko’s result? I think yes, for Dasha this is a normal result. After what she had. So everything is good so far.”
“I’ll talk to the girls about the pursuit, in which [они] condition like [спринтерская] the race was a success, as Dasha, Lena feel. Let’s see, I’ll talk to Nastya. There will be relay races later, we need to think about it.”
“An identical result for Merkushina and Bilosyuk? They just gave information. I don’t think there should be any rivalry between them.”
The best result of Ukraine in the race was the 11th place of Yulia Dzhima. Anastasia Merkushina and Elena Bilosyuk came to the finish line with the same result and shared the 26th place. Darya Blashko finished 43rd, while Lyubov Kipyachenkova finished 66th.
