Skier Elizabeth Pantrina after winning the 50 kilometer race as part of the Demino marathon, she admitted that she had run such a distance for the first time in her life.
Pantrina, 20, who recently won the team sprint at “Champion Heights” in Malinovka, claimed victory in Russia’s most massive marathon race on Saturday. Silver and bronze at fifty dollars in the Yaroslavl region were won by Larisa Ryasina and Svetlana Zaborskaya.
“I’m very happy to have won, emotions cannot be conveyed,” the correspondent said quoting Pantrina. – After 25 kilometers behind the leaders, could not sustain their course. The girls went really fast, and I decided to keep my pace. As a result, she caught up with them and became the first over the finish line. In general, I ran 50 kilometers for the first time. I liked it a lot. Although after Malinovka starts, the marathon is not such an easy distance.
“How did you get from the Arkhangelsk region to Demino?”
— Arrived by car the day before. Long traveled, was in place at noon in the morning. The skis were prepared for me in the morning already on the local snow.
For the victory in the Demino marathon, Pantrina will receive 200,000 rubles.
