The French team won the mixed relay of the KM stage in Nove Mesto

French biathletes won the mixed relay at the seventh stage of the World Cup, which took place in Nove Mesto in the Czech Republic.

The team of Lou Jeanmonnot, Caroline Colombo, Eric Perrault and Fabien Claude achieved the best time over the 4×6 km distance in 1 hour 6 minutes 32.3 seconds without penalties using 7 extra laps.

The Swedish national team (Anna Magnusson, Hanna Oeberg, Martin Ponsiluoma, Sebastian Samuelsson) took second place, losing 33.6 seconds to the winners. Athletes had to use 18 additional cartridges.

Bronze went to the Norwegians (Caroline Knotten, Ingrid Tandrevold, Johannes Dahle, Endre Stromsheim) – they were 38.3 seconds behind the French, covered the distance without penalties and completed 16 more laps.

Later on Sunday, at the World Cup stadium in the Czech Republic, there will be a super mix.
