Norway won the single mixed relay in Nové Mesto, Ukraine finished 6th

Blue-yellow claimed a medal, but went to the penalty loop after the last shooting

Norway national team won single mixed relay at the stage biathlon world cup in Czech Nove Mesto.

Marte Roiseland and Vetle Sjöstad Christiansen used up seven extra rounds, missing just once in standing fire. The second place was taken by the team of Switzerland, the third – by Latvia.

Team of Ukraine as part of Anastasia Merkushina And Bogdan Tsymbal took sixth place. The Ukrainians had a chance to compete for a medal, but at the last frontier Bogdan went to the penalty loop.

Earlier, the Ukrainian national team consisting of Yulia Dzhima, Elena Bilosiuk, Artem Pryma and Anton Dudchenko became the sixth in the mixed relay. The race was won by the biathletes of the French team.

The next stage of the Biathlon World Cup will be held in Östersund, Sweden. The competition will be opened by women’s and men’s individual races, which will be held on March 9.
