Winner of the Speed Skating World Championships Evgeniya Lalenkova expressed his hope that the decision of the Council of the International Skating Union (ISU) on the admission of the Russian side to participate in the congress will be only the first positive step in relation to Russian sport.
On Sunday, it became known that the ISU Council had not submitted to Congress a proposal to exclude Russian representatives from the participants of the event, which will begin on June 6 in Phuket (Thailand).
