Bilosyuk, Jim and Merkushin in the top 40
Italian biathlete Dorothea Wierer became the winner individual race on eighth stage of the World Cup in Östersund (Sweden).
With clean shooting, Wierer confidently won the first race in Östersund, 25 seconds ahead of her compatriot Lisa Vittozzi. Third place in the race was taken by the German Denise Herrmann-Wick.
Olena Bilosiuk, Yulia Dzhima and Anastasia Merkushina, who finished in the top 40, became the best in the Ukrainian national team.
Today in Östersund there will also be a men’s individual race. Anton Dudchenko, Artem Prima, Bogdan Tsymbal, Artem Tishchenko and Denis Nasyko will run for Ukraine. The start is at 17:20.
