Biathlete Povarnitsyn believes he entered the top 6 in the Commonwealth Cup sprint due to the mistakes of his opponents

Biathlete Alexander Povarnitsyn on , he expressed the opinion that he was able to enter the top six in the sprint at the PARI Cup of the Commonwealth Cup in Tyumen due to the failures of his rivals.

Povarnitsyn had two penalties and finished sixth in the sprint, 1 minute 22.4 seconds behind the winner Edward Latypov which passed two stages without error.
