In the family of a Russian biathlete Matvey Eliseev and his wife Anna had a son. The athlete told the press service of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU) about this.
– First impressions as a father? Feeling of freshness, I like that. The son now mainly eats and sleeps, so the main burden falls on his wife, but I’m still on the hook. And the mother-in-law actively helps, if necessary. My daily routine hasn’t changed much yet, but at night my sleep is of course not so good. Certainly, even if my training is incomplete, it does not really affect them, ”said Eliseev.
In December last year, 29-year-old Eliseev announced he would be suspending his competitive activities as he decided to take his health into his own hands.
