Another Norwegian Johannes Dahle took second place, Frenchman Eric Perrault – third
Norwegian biathlete Vetle Sjostad Christiansen won the mass start on the stage World Cup in swedish Östersund.
Christiansen was the only one who managed to go the whole distance without penalty loops. Second place went to another Norwegian Johannes Dalethird – Eric Perrault from France.
The only representative of Ukraine in the men’s mass start Anton Dudchenko took 16th place. The Ukrainian made one miss and lagged behind the winner by one minute and 15 seconds.
Earlier, the women’s mass start was won by Italian Dorothea Wierer. Ukrainian biathletes failed to qualify for the race.
The final stage of the World Cup will be held in Holmenkolen, Norway. The men’s sprint competition program will open on March 16.
