Hermann-Wik won the women’s sprint at the World Cup in Holmenkollen

German biathlete Denise Hermann-Wik won the women’s sprint at the World Cup in Norwegian Holmenkollen.

With clean shooting, Hermann-Wik finished in 21:06.5 seconds. Then two representatives of Sweden climbed the podium – the second was Hanna Oeberg, the third was Anna Magnusson.

The best result of Ukraine was the 46th place of Anastasia Merkushina. Elena Bilosyuk took 57th place, Daria Blashko finished 60th. Lyubov Kipyachenkova took 80th place, and three misses by Yulia Dzhima brought her to 83rd position.

The stage in Norway will end with mass starts for men and women. Also Holmenkollen did not host the women’s pursuit, which was rescheduled due to a change in the race schedule after the postponement of the sprint.
