Skier Sergei Ustyugov explained why he fell in the last round of the skiathlon at the Alfa-Bank Russian Championship in Tyumen.
The start took place on Sunday in Tyumen. Winner of the race Bolshunov covered the distance in 1 hour 11 minutes 0.2 seconds. Ustyugov (+5.3 seconds) took second place. The third was Ivan Yakimushkin (+29.4). Ustyugov fell in one of the corners, about a mile and a half from the finish line.

What happened when you fell?
– I couldn’t hold my legs up, I was very tired, I slipped and fell on the bend. I raise my head, and Sanya [Большунов] already run.
