Marte Olsby-Røiseland and Anais Chevalier-Busche took the podium in the last race of their career
Swedish biathlete Hanna Oeberg won the final race World Cup 2022/23 on stage in Norwegian Holmenkollen.
The Swede became the strongest in the mass start, having passed the track in 36 minutes and 33.5 seconds, while making one miss. Norwegian Marte Olsbu-Røiseland second place, French Anais Chevalier-Boucher – third.
Recall that for Marte and Anais, the race was the last in their careers – both completed professional performances. Denise Herrmann-Wick also announced her retirement from biathlon earlier, who became sixth in the mass start.
Earlier, the men’s race with a mass start was won by the Norwegian Johannes Boe. Ukrainians did not take part in the competitions on the final day of the World Cup season.
