Biathlete of the national team of the Tyumen region Alexander Povarnitsyn told that he successfully passed a thorough medical examination, the athlete intends to participate in all races of the second stage of the Russian championship in Khanty-Mansiysk.
After the first stage of the Russian Championship in Izhevsk, Povarnitsyn was ill with the coronavirus. Later, during the Commonwealth Cup stage in Tyumen, he complained of back pain.
– We are now in Khanty-Mansiysk with the Bashkirov group. We arrived here about a week ago, having stopped en route to Moscow for a thorough medical examination (UMO). All the guys are fine, we are preparing for a good competition in the Russian Championship. However, these starts will be the last, I want to give my all. I plan to participate in all races in Khanty-Mansiysk,” said Povarnitsyn.
– What are the results of a thorough medical examination?
– After the Russian championship in Izhevsk, I fell ill. I already went to Tyumen at the start in good health, but I didn’t manage to finish all the work, so I didn’t expect a big result from myself. UMO went well, was admitted.
