Quadruple European Champion Evgenia Burtasova told that the Russian Biathlon Championship in Khanty-Mansiysk will be his first tournament of the winter season.
Burtasova, representing the Novosibirsk region, took 10th place in the sprint at the Russian Summer Championship in Tchaikovsky. Then she didn’t show up.
– I am already in Khanty, I will participate in the Russian Championship, I plan to race everything. On February 1, I started skiing, having made bulk preparations in Novosibirsk, in order to get a little in order, then I climbed the Seminsky Pass, where I spent 20 days. Then she flew to Khanty.
– Did you train until February 1st?
– No, because I was engaged in health. The sinister teeth of the “eight” did not let me live, I had to cut three teeth at once. Because of this, I took antibiotics for a long time. This problem tormented me for a long time: the temperature continued, we did not understand why, but then we found out that the “eights” are at 90 degrees, so they need to be cut. A tooth was removed for an hour and a half. As soon as I did everything, I started training hard.
– In Khanty, will you leave the state?
– Well, why am I standing on skis for two months in vain? We have to participate, after all, it’s the Russian championship. I understand that I did not come to enchant, but I will defend the honor of the region,” Burtasova told
will broadcast the Russian Biathlon Championship. Watch live broadcasts of the tournament from March 27 to April 2 on the federal channel and thematic channels of the holding, as well as on the sites matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru.
