Norwegian biathlete Eyvind Sporaland has disappeared without a trace, reports Dagbladet.
The disappearance of the 22-year-old athlete became known on March 19, he took part in the Norwegian Championship in Alta.
“Based on an analysis of the weather and the good physical condition of the missing person, we still believe that Eyvind may still be alive,” said Magnus Danielsen, head of the search operation.
Volunteers, the Norwegian Red Cross, police and civil protection officers also joined in the search activities.
Sporaland is the silver medalist of the Norwegian Junior Championship.
