President of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU) Viktor Maygurov told that nothing is impossible to organize competitions in Kamchatka next season, but, of course, the financial capabilities of regional teams will be taken into account.
Biathletes will end the current winter season with marathons in Uvat, Tyumen region. The competitions will take place as part of the PARI Russian Championship on April 5-6.
– Are there any interesting proposals for the calendar plan?
– There are no new locations. We are just thinking about how the end of the season will go in Kamchatka. It’s either the Russian Cup stage or the Commonwealth Cup stage. If the government of the Kamchatka Territory supports us, maybe we will finish the season there. It is impossible not to take into account television, which shows us perfectly. Nothing is impossible.
– Will all regions shoot?
– This, of course, is also taken into account. If there is an initiative from the Kamchatka Territory, then of course we first think of the athletes,” Maygurov told .
