The Russian Biathlon Union (RBU) will include the participation of Belarusian athletes in the regulations on holding the Russian Cup and Championship in the schedule for the next season in order to avoid disagreements that have arisen this year. This was stated by the head of the organization Viktor Maygurov .
According to Maygurov, the schedule is practically approved. In the current season, problems arose with the participation of Belarusian biathletes in the big mass start as part of the Russian Championship in Izhevsk. By decision of the jury, the athletes were not allowed to compete.
– We will introduce the participation of Belarusians into the regulations on holding competitions so that there are no disagreements, like this year. This is the Russian Cup and Championship. Commonwealth Cup retained.
