The victory in the women’s sprint race was won by the representative of Austria, Lisa-Teresa Hauser. She was 40 seconds ahead of Frenchwoman Paula Bothe. The third was another biathlete from France – Lou Zhanmonno.
The best result of Ukraine is the ninth place of Yulia Dzhima. Anna Krivonos was 16th, Nadezhda Belkina was 23rd, and Valeria Dmitrenko finished 31st.
