Biathlete Nikita Porshnev won the 40 km marathon at the Russian Championships in Uvat

Biathlete Nikita Porchnev representing the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, became the winner of the 40 km marathon at the PARI Russian Championship in Uvat.

The 27-year-old completed the distance in 1 hour 56 minutes 14.5 seconds, with three misses. Second place Moscow Karima Khalili (+1.16.8, 3 misses), completes the top three Anton Babikov representing the Republic of Bashkortostan (+1.33.7, 7 misses).

On Thursday, April 6, a women’s 30 km marathon will take place, broadcast live on will start at 8:40 a.m. (Moscow time).
