President of Russian Ski Racing Federation (FLGR) Elena Vyalbe admitted that she dreamed of becoming a pianist as a child.
Until the age of eight or nine, I dreamed of becoming a pianist. I really wanted to have a piano at home. She begged her mother, “Darling mom, please buy a piano. I will be the greatest pianist in the world! Mom answered me: “You don’t have hearing, it won’t help you.” Some time later, when our house was being demolished, I imagined that if we also dragged the piano into the apartment… It would be green melancholy. I don’t remember why I wanted to become a pianist. Probably one of the girlfriends had a piano at home. But I never played the piano and I didn’t know how to do it,” Vyalba told the “Championship”.
Vyalbe, 54, is a three-time Olympic cross-country skiing champion. She has been the head of the FLGR since 2010.
will broadcast the final stage of the Russian Cross-Country Skiing Cup, which will take place in Kirovsk from April 7-9.
