Down-the-line.com/Wintersports. Maria Dobrova, the ski cross European Cup silver medalist from Russia, has denied reports she was beaten in Sochi.
Earlier it was reported that Dobrova was rushed to a hospital in Sochi with a severe bruise on her nose, and she was reportedly beaten by 2021 Russian ski cross champion, 2019 Universiade freestyle skier winner Artyom Nabiulin.
“The message that was published on a large telegram channel is nonsense. I don’t understand where this information comes from. Artyom is my boyfriend, we were together in Krasnaya Polyana, but there was no fight , they didn’t beat me. We just stayed there, maybe there was some noise near the hotel… But there was no conflict. Nobody went see the police or call them. I wasn’t hurt and didn’t need to be hospitalized, I wasn’t taken to the hospital. . I’m fine!” – quotes the words of Dobrova “Komsomolskaya Pravda”.
