– I tried to put myself in a state of nirvana and make the most of the race, because the track was not perfect, but thanks to the organizers for trying to save it. And thoughts … I thought that tomorrow I would see mom and dad, whom I had not seen for over a month. This thought warmed me. I was ready for this marathon, but it’s clear that I didn’t give 100%, because on the one hand it’s the end of the season and on the other hand we’re running with a gun behind us, it’s very difficult.
– If you summarized the season, how would you describe it?
— The season was not easy because of the large number of races. The disease accompanied me all season. I understand this was due to a very tight competition schedule. After getting into shape, I managed in Chaikovsky and Izhevsk, returned home and immediately fell ill. It’s my carelessness, I want to improve next season thanks to the experience gained. In general, the season is very cool. I’m not just talking about my training, the work of our entire team. I want to warmly thank Vitaly Viktorovich Noritsyn and Artem Evgenievich Istomin for always being with us. I have never regretted being in this group. I have known Vitaly Viktorovich for a long time. Artem Evgenievich is a very promising coach. I am proud that he is the one leading us to victories,” Gerbulova told .
All the races of the stages of the Cup and the championship of Russia, the Commonwealth Cup of the last biathlon season were broadcast on the television channels of the match outfit.
