Olympic cross-country skiing champion Natalya Nepryaeva in an interview with , she told how the attitude to watching races with her participation changed in the family.

– Parents at the races – support or additional responsibility?

– Both. The support is very much felt, I am grateful for that, but at the end of the competition we have to organize some kind of rest or excursion for them. Still, we brought them here, we want them to be satisfied, so dad didn’t take a vacation in vain. Previously, parents watched competitions with Corvalol. This year, fortunately, we managed without a crush. After all, we still have a little brother, he is nine years old, now he is also in Kirovsk,” Nepryaeva told .

Nepryaeva is an Olympic relay champion, Olympic silver and two-time bronze medalist, owner of the Big Crystal Globe and winner of the Tour de Ski multi-day race.

The Russian cross-country ski season will end this weekend with a women’s 50 km marathon in Apatity, as well as a men’s 70 km in Monchegorsk.
