The roster was approved Tuesday at a meeting of the organization’s executive committee.
The commission also included Maxim Tsvetkov, Alexander Povarnitsyn, Ekaterina Noskova and Tamara Derbusheva.
– It seems to me that the commission turned out to be a fully functioning composition of biathletes with authority. The Commission was created so that the athletes could participate even more fully in solving the objectives and tasks facing the RRF. This also applies to improving the organization of our competitions and solving the problems of individual athletes who find themselves in some kind of difficult life situation, and much more. I hope that our commission will also interact with the IBU Athletes’ Commission so that the opinion and voice of our athletes will be heard in the International Biathlon Union, said RBU President Viktor Maigurov .
The RBU Athletes’ Commission is formed for a period of four years, its chairman will be elected by a vote of the members of the commission.
