The Russian Biathlon Union (RBU) executive committee has approved an expanded list of candidates for the national team for the 2023/24 season, according to the RBU’s official website.
Men: Anton Babikov, Kirill Bazhin, Mikhail Burundukov, Alexey Vagin, Andrey Vyuhin, Oleg Domichek, Matvey Eliseev, Evgeny Yemerkhonov, Roman Eremin, Stanislav Ilinykh, Denis Irodov, Ivan Kolotov, Alexander Kornev, Eduard Latypov, Alexander Loginov, Ilnaz Mukhamedzyanov, Petr Pashchenko, Mikhail Pervushin, Alexander Povarnitsyn, Nikita Porshnev, Daniil Serokhvostov, Vasily Tomshin, Karim Khalili, Maxim Tsvetkov.

Four people – Alexander Loginov, Kristina Reztsova, Uliana Nigmatullina and Anna Grukhvina – are included in the list by decision of the RBU coaching council, the rest are based on sports results in the 2022/23 season. 32 people from this list will undergo centralized training, 16 will remain in the nearest reserve,” RRF Chairman Viktor Maigurov said.
