President of Russian Ski Racing Federation (FLGR) Elena Vyalbe said the extension of the suspension of Russian athletes in the Ski Classics marathon series was foreseeable.
Earlier on Tuesday, it was learned that the Ski Classics marathon series had extended the suspension of Russian and Belarusian athletes from competitions under its auspices.
“It’s bad, but everything is predictable, I didn’t even think about this marathon, it’s unpleasant to hear all this,” Vyalbe told .
In February last year, Ski Classics deprived Russian and Belarusian skiers of the right to compete due to the situation in Ukraine.
