“The salary criteria should be published on the SBR website. Now there is no understanding, but there are many questions” – Nuzhdov

President of the Moscow Region Biathlon Federation Alexei Nuzhdov told that the criteria for the distribution of salaries among Russian national team athletes should be published for all to see so that the professional community understands.

Earlier, we learned that the members of the team Larissa Kuklina , Ilnaz Moukhamedzyanov And Yevgeny Emerkhonov lost their wages in the team. Head of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU) coaching council Vladimir Bragin told that national team coaches are aware of the salary lists through a group in the messenger.

Is the deprivation of Kuklina, Mukhametzyanov, Tomshin, Yemerkhonov, Dovga and many other athletes of CSP funding a scandal?

– I am starting from what is emerging in the media space and from my own experience at the head of the RRF. It is reported about 32 bets in the national team. In fact, all Russian biathletes request it. Entering or not entering lists of this kind is a workflow, as indeed in regions that have their own DSPs. There are state quotas and federation requests. The CSP says: we can allocate as many tariffs. The federation responds: we want more. But not more. Naturally, someone has to be eliminated or the approach has to be changed.

With a “but”. Prior to the distribution of bets, clear and uniform criteria should be developed, according to which athletes enter the national team and receive the right to state salaries. Of those who meet the criteria, a list is drawn up, the coaches council discusses it, the executive committee of the federation approves, and then the matter is submitted to the CSP level. The criteria should be communicated to all interested parties and posted on the RRF website so that the professional community has an understanding. From what I hear, one can assume that there is no understanding now, but there are many questions.

– Some athletes who are in centralized training are deprived of CSP tariffs. In fact, these are collections, according to the assessment of their work – no. Contradiction?

Ideally this should not be the case. But if the executive committee agrees in advance on such an approach, why not? Staying at centralized training means that the athlete has the right to accommodation, meals, use of sports facilities, medical, methodological, organizational and other support. The funds allocated for this are much more than salaries. They can be distributed not to 32, but to more athletes,” Nuzhdov told .

On Monday, commentator and host Dmitry Guberniev said on the TV channel that the CSP is ready to increase the salary quota, but is waiting for a new request from the SBR.
