IBU presented the World Cup calendar for the 2022/23 season

The season will start in Kontiolahti

Executive Committee of the International Biathlon Union (IBU) introduced the calendar World Cup 2022/23.

The upcoming season will consist of nine stages and the World Championship in Oberhof, Germany. The opening of the 2022/23 season will take place in Kontiolahti (Finland) from November 27 to December 4. The last stage of the 2020/21 World Cup will take place in Holmenkollen, Norway from 16 to 19 March.

Recall that the state coach of the Ukrainian biathlon team Yevgeny Kolupaev spoke about the upcoming preparatory camp of the men’s and women’s teams.

Biathlon World Cup calendar 2022-2023:

  • Kontiolahti (Finland): 11/29/2022 – 12/04/2022;
  • Hochfilzen (Austria): 08.12.2022 – 11.12.2022;
  • Annecy (France): 12/15/2022 – 12/18/2022;
  • Pokljuka (Slovenia): 01/05/2023 – 01/08/2023;
  • Ruhpolding (Germany): 01/11/2023 – 01/15/2023;
  • Antholz-Anterselva (Italy): 01/19/2023 – 01/22/2023;
  • World Championship in Oberhof (Germany): 02/08/2023 – 02/19/2023;
  • Nove Mesto (Czech Republic): 03/02/2023 – 03/05/2023;
  • Ostersund (Sweden): 03/09/2023 — 03/12/2023
  • Holmenkollen (Norway): 03/16/2022 – 03/19/2023.
