Three-time Olympic biathlon champion Marte Olsby-Reiseland of Norway has announced that she is expecting a baby.
From one adventure to another! I can’t wait to meet this toddler in the fall”, wrote the Norwegian on the social network.
Olsby-Reiseland, 32, retired after the 2022/23 season. She is married to Sverre Roiseland, coach of the German women’s biathlon team.
Olsby-Ryseland is a 13-time world champion, winner of the 2021/22 World Cup. In terms of the total number of gold medals at the world championships, she ranks first in history among women.
