On Friday, a working meeting of the leaders of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU) and the Belarusian Biathlon Federation (BFB) took place in Moscow, according to the RBU website.
The Russian part of the working meeting was attended by RBU President Viktor Maigurov, Executive Director Alexander Pak and Honorary Vice President Vadim Melikhov. From the Belarusian side – the president of ESB Andrian Tsibulsky and the general director of the Belarusian biathlon club Yevgeny Chmil.
It is reported that the participants of the meeting exchanged information on the most problematic issues that the two federations have faced over the past year, described possible ways of mutual assistance, and also discussed various aspects joint competitions of Russian and Belarusian biathletes to be held in the Sports season 2023/2024.
— Among other things, we discussed with our Belarusian friends the competition schedule for the upcoming season and the Commonwealth Cup regulations. We also offered to involve biathletes from both countries in the process of discussing our cooperation at the level of the RRF and BSE Athletes’ Committees,” Maigurov said.
