Istomin is currently working in tandem with coach Vitaly Noritsyn. The group is made up of ten athletes: Christina Reztsova , Ksenia Dovgaya , Ekaterina Noskova , Svetlana Mironova , Elizabeth Kaplina , Anastasia Goreva , Larissa Kuklina , Natalia Gerbulova , Daniil Serokhvostov and Karim Khalili .
– Is it difficult to follow nine athletes at the Raubichi training camp? Now Christina Reztsova is still missing.
“Actually, I thought it would be harder. So far, I haven’t felt a big load. At present, there is still a division between shooting and functional training. Therefore, the training volume is quite large, if you look at it in general. But in general, there was no serious burden for me.
– Thoughts on how to reduce the group, right?
– Not. You just need another trainer.
– You said you needed another specialist. Is this problem still not solved?
– I haven’t decided yet, there are funding issues. As long as we work together. We hope the issue will be resolved in the near future. That’s always how it goes. It’s only the beginning of summer. I think everything should be fine.
How do you see this coaching structure? Will there be three more or less equivalent coaches?
