Beijing Olympic medalist biathlete Uliana Nigmatullina completed a year of study at the Russian International Olympic University (RIOU) in the direction “Management in sports”, the head of the press service of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU) Sergey Averyanov told the channel Telegram.
The 29-year-old graduated with a degree in sports administration. In November 2022, Nigmatullina told that she planned to continue her career in her specialty and “reach IOC level”.
In early November 2022, Nigmatullina announced that she would miss the 2022/23 season due to pregnancy.
Nigmatullina at the 2022 Olympics won silver and bronze medals in the classic and mixed relays, respectively.
