Beijing Olympic medalist biathlete Uliana Nigmatullina spoke of his intention to return to competition in September 2023.

– Aina plans to travel with me throughout training and hopefully competitions. Our mothers take turns helping me and Ilshat. And sister Nastya has so far stayed with Aina once, she has quite a busy schedule.
– Tell me, please, where have you already had training camps this season?
– I started the preparatory season with a training camp in Terskol, in order to understand in general if I was ready to train mentally and physically. In addition, until August, training will take place in Izhevsk, then according to plans, Tyumen, Sochi, etc. In an ideal situation, I would like to organize the Commonwealth Cup in Sochi.
Together with the Tyumen team, I will prepare from August. Ilshat now works with juniors from Tatarstan, but our camps are organized jointly. These transitions did not affect our interaction in the training process. The first leg of the Commonwealth Cup in Sochi will take place from September 5-11.
