Russian skaters can join the Kazakhstan team in two years or for a fee

According to the rules of the Russian Skating Union, Russian skaters Elizaveta Golubeva And Kristina Silaeva can move to another team two years after the last departure as part of the Russian national team or for monetary compensation, a source familiar with the matter told .

Golubeva and Silaeva received a residence permit in Kazakhstan and intend to play for the national team of this country.

As it became known from , these are the conditions specified in the regulations on transfers to another team, which operates on behalf of the Russian Skating Union.

At the same time, according to international rules, if the TFR approves the transition, the athletes could compete at least in the World Cup stages for the new team in the coming season.
