The Khamovnichesky District Court of Moscow denied the former Chairman of the Board of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU) Alexander Yeslev to fulfill the requirements for holding an extraordinary conference of the organization, the RBU press service reports.
At the October 2022 RBU conference, the election of the head of the organization took place. The victory was won by outgoing union president Viktor Maigurov, who edged out Alexei Nuzhdov by the voting results. The first round of elections took place in June, where no candidate obtained 2/3 of the votes, but 4 people were elected to the executive committee of the organization. Yeslev did not agree to the conference electing four members of the executive committee, although the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation has not yet registered a new version of the charter.
