President of the Russian Biathlon Union Viktor Maygurov said that the RRF does not personally follow any of the leaders of world biathlon, but is guided by data on the shooting speed and movement of foreign athletes to train domestic biathletes.
The new season begins in Sochi, where the first stage of the Alfa-Bank Summer Biathlon Cup will take place from September 5 to 12. The competition will bring together Russians and Belarusians, suspended from tournaments under the auspices of the IBU.
