– When you were speaking, did you often hear anti-Russian rhetoric from Norwegians?
– There’s a special attack in the media, I guess. Basically, people absorb information without thinking. In the same Norway they are given information, they believe.
Our Alexander Tikhonov and Viktor Maigurov were in the governing structures of international biathlon, then they were removed from it, now those who are against us are in charge of skiing and biathlon. They only plant their own, ours are not allowed. If only our Russian officials were here… But now they’re gone. That’s why all this happens.
Why were we allowed to survive?
– Our athletes have always been strong, our opponents fight like this – they eliminate the strongest. The political game has begun. First they are removing the officials, now the athletes. They deliberately introduce discord into society.
– Where is the betrayal and where are the circumstances regarding those who left Russia?
— You have to communicate with a person to understand his principles. I captured the Soviet upbringing, my parents raised me that way. If I spoke now, I wouldn’t trade my country for the world. Those same people to me, as I’ve always said, are the ones who can’t survive the difficulties here. It is always harder for us to get results, someone is looking for what they want. They think of themselves. Can’t blame them, I guess. But my opinion is that it is wrong. The circumstances are different. They may want to compete, but they can compete with us.
What is victory for you?
Our country must win. There are those who leave and take care of themselves, and there are the guys who serve in the NWO. They do not think of themselves, but of the Fatherland. That’s the difference. And we also have those who don’t know what’s going on at all, don’t feel it, they’re in their own little world, they’re not with their homeland. But if you were born here, then this is your homeland, you should be with it. It’s like a mother, you can’t sell her.
– What is the fatherland for you?
– It’s like my mother. The betrayal of my mother is impossible, of my family. According to my education, according to my conscience, it is impossible. For me, the main thing is that we win, that justice prevails. All the same, she will triumph, the truth will be behind us,” Zaitseva said on .
