Two-time biathlon world champion Julia Simon announced that in the near future she plans to start training with the main team French team .
In July, reports emerged that Simon, 26, was suspected of bank card fraud. One of the lawsuits against Simon was brought by a member of the staff of the French biathlon team, the second by an Olympic champion Justine Brezaz Boucher . Brezaz-Boucher’s lawsuit alleges that Simone used her credit card at the Blink biathlon festival and made purchases ranging from one thousand to two thousand euros. Brezaz-Boucher filed a complaint with the French Ski Federation. At the beginning of June, a disciplinary hearing was organized during which Simone presented her version of the events and denied all the allegations.
