Russian and Belarusian biathletes did not participate in international competitions last season by decision of the International Biathlon Union (IBU) due to the situation in Ukraine.
– Where to look for motivation for our biathletes in isolation?
— Look at the current competition in Russia and Belarus. Try to win the championship of one of these countries. In my generation, the USSR championship was more difficult to win than the world championship. There must be a motivation from the state.
