At the conference on reports and elections of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU), a vote was held for the appointment to the executive committee of the organization, reports the press service of the RBU on its Telegram channel.
Four people were elected to the executive committee of the RBU, plus the president of the organization Viktor Maygurov . The threshold of 29 votes (50% + 2) was exceeded by: Anna Bogaliy Ivan Melikhov, Yevgeny Redkin and Maxim Chudov .
Previously, elections for the head of the organization had taken place during the conference, but none of the candidates had obtained the 2/3 of the votes necessary for victory. Maygurov and the union vice-president claim the post Alexei Nuzhdov .
