Athletistic/ Winter sports. Russian Skating Union (SCR) President Nikolai Gulyaev explained how Russians were treated at the International Skating Union (ISU) Congress, held in Thailand from June 6-10.
“It was important for me to hear the opinion on the attitude towards us of participants from other countries. There was no open hostility, however, during the vote, they made the appropriate decisions. – quotes the words of Gulyaev “RIA Novosti Sport”.
The organization’s governing bodies and technical committees were elected at the ISU Congress. One of the most important decisions of the congress was a gradual increase in the age limit in figure skating from 15 to 17 years old.
