Before the start of the preparatory period, Grukhvina switched from cross-country skiing to biathlon.
The Alfa-Bank Commonwealth Cup women’s 7.5km sprint was her first race in the new sport. At both shooting lines, the ex-skier made 8 misses and took 30th place.
