“While I run, I will not tell you my secrets” – biathlete Slivko refused to give Kazakevich advice on shooting

Biathlete Victoria Slivko said she wouldn’t reveal her shooting secrets to anyone while she was playing.

Slivko made no mistakes in the four shooting stages and finished first in Saturday’s pursuit race in the Alfa-Bank Commonwealth Cup stage. Russian Irina Kazakevich, who was in the lead for a third of the distance, made three errors on the last shot.

—Did you believe throughout the race that Kazakevich’s pursuit would end successfully?

– Honestly no. When Irinka started to leave, I thought she was very confident today, it was hard for me, my condition was not easy. I hoped I would just make it to the finish line. My shoot is expensive, especially in my state.

— What advice can you give to Kazakevich regarding shooting?

— I’m not a coach, they don’t give advice. All my secrets are mine, I definitely won’t tell you while I’m running.

— Did you have a lot of fun working remotely today?

“Oh, the last round was great, everything else is probably not,” reports correspondent, reporting Slivko’s words.

On Sunday, September 10, races will take place in Sochi with a general start. Live broadcast of the men’s mass start on will begin at 10:35 Moscow time, the women’s race at 1:35 p.m. You can also watch competitions on the sites matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru.
