Belarusian biathlete Anton Smolski won the race from the general start on roller skis at the first stage of the Alfa-Bank Commonwealth Cup in Sochi.
Smolsky committed two penalties over four stages of shooting and clocked 31 minutes 43.9 seconds. Russian Eduard Latypov finished second (3 penalties; lag – 5.4 seconds), Belarusian Ilya Avseenko (3; +22.1) finished third.
Smolsky also won the sprint and pursuit at the Sochi stage.
