— I’m not in Tyumen, I’m at home now. About a month and a half ago I got sick, everything turned into an acute infection of the upper respiratory tract, so I had to undergo a very long course of treatment, taking antibiotics. I’m just starting to train a little, but I’m still recovering.
— What type of training are you currently taking?
— I do basic bodybuilding. I skate and recover. As the coach says, I have to get rid of all the antibiotics (laughs).
— During pre-season training, did you work with the regional team?
— Yes, yes, I worked with coach Valery Vladimirovich Ivanov, we prepared with the men’s team. We were at Seminsky Pass, in Novosibirsk, and then I got sick.
— What are your plans for the future?
“Now I will finally improve my health and start training with the group.” According to the plan, we have a training camp in Novosibirsk, then an internship in Seminsky. After which we descend and ride in stages. Then we will start with health, because even now no one expected this to happen,” Burtasova told .
The Alfa-Bank Russian Summer Biathlon Championship will take place in Tyumen from September 16 to 19. All races will be broadcast live on the channel and broadcasts will also be available on the matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru websites.
