Petr Pashchenko won the sprint race at the Alfa-Bank Russian Biathlon Championship, which takes place in Tyumen.
Pashchenko, who avoided mistakes on two shooting ranges, posted a result of 24 minutes 39 seconds. Second place went to last season’s overall winner of the Commonwealth Cup, Eduard Latypov (1 miss; delay – 2.3 seconds). Anton Babikov (0; +21.1) closed the top three.
